This deceptively simple dessert takes just minutes to prepare and requires no baking! Frozen bananas form the base, layered with creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate. Top it off with chopped peanuts and a touch of sea salt for a sweet and salty treat.

Key Feature:

  • Easy and quick to prepare

Nut Butter Options:

Feel free to swap the peanut butter for your favorite nut butter, like almond butter or cashew butter, for a delicious twist.

  • Have the chopped peanuts ready to go before adding the chocolate layer, as it hardens quickly.
  • Press the peanuts gently into the chocolate to ensure they stick.

  • 2 medium bananas, sliced
  • ¼ cup natural peanut butter, stirred
  • ⅓ cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped unsalted roasted peanuts
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

  1. Freeze the Bananas: Line a large plate with parchment paper. Arrange banana slices in a single layer, making sure they touch. Freeze for at least 1 hour.
  2. Add the Peanut Butter: Drizzle peanut butter evenly over the frozen bananas. Return the plate to the freezer.

  1. Melt the Chocolate: In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Microwave for an additional 30 seconds, or until mostly melted. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  2. Assemble and Freeze: Pour the melted chocolate over the frozen banana-peanut butter layer. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and sea salt, pressing gently to adhere. Freeze for 15 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
  3. Serve and Store: Break the bark into pieces and enjoy immediately. Alternatively, store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 days.
