Craving a breakfast or appetizer that’s both easy and delicious? Look no further than these Chai Sausage Crescent Rolls! This recipe utilizes store-bought crescent roll dough and infuses it with the warm, spiced flavors of chai latte mix for a unique and satisfying twist.

  • 8 precooked breakfast sausage links
  • 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 teaspoon chai latte mix (adjust to your spice preference)

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Warm the Sausage (Optional):
    • While the oven preheats, place the breakfast sausage links on a plate and microwave them on high power for about 30 seconds to slightly warm them through. This step is optional, but it helps ensure even heating during baking.
  3. Spice Up the Dough:
    • Pour the chai latte mix onto a flat plate. Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Gently press each side of a crescent dough triangle into the chai mix to coat it evenly.
  4. Assemble and Bake:
    • Place a pre-warmed sausage link at the wide end of a spiced crescent dough triangle. Carefully roll up the dough, enclosing the sausage.
    • Repeat this process with the remaining dough triangles and sausage links, adding more chai mix to the plate as needed.
    • Place the assembled rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake to Golden Perfection:
    • Bake the chai sausage crescent rolls in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and flaky and the sausage is heated through.
  6. Serve and Enjoy!
    • Once golden brown, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these warm and delicious treats for breakfast, brunch, or as a delightful appetizer.
