This flavorful teriyaki salmon bowl is ready in under 30 minutes! Salmon is marinated in a simple homemade teriyaki sauce made with pantry staples, then baked to flaky perfection. The bowl is filled with fluffy rice and a colorful mix of crunchy vegetables for a satisfying and well-balanced meal.


  • For the Teriyaki Sauce:
    • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
    • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 1 small clove garlic, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
  • For the Bowl:
    • 1 (6-ounce) salmon fillet
    • 1 cup cooked rice
    • 1/4 cup grated carrots
    • 2 radishes, thinly sliced
    • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
    • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
    • Green onion, thinly sliced (optional, for garnish)


  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking dish: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Make the teriyaki sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Marinate the salmon: Place the salmon fillet in the prepared baking dish, skin side down. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the salmon.
  4. Bake the salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Assemble the bowls: Divide cooked rice between bowls. Top with the baked salmon and drizzle with teriyaki sauce from the baking dish. Add shredded cabbage, grated carrots, and sliced radishes.
  6. Garnish (optional): Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onion for extra flavor and crunch.
