- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Cook the Potato Filling:
- Boil the potatoes until fork-tender, then mash them with a few chunks remaining.
- Sauté onion, ginger, and garlic in olive oil. Add spices and cook briefly.
- Combine mashed potatoes, peas, and cilantro in the pan.
- Assemble the Samosas:
- Lay out wonton wrappers and spoon filling in the center.
- Moisten the edges with water and fold into triangles, sealing the edges.
- Spray the samosas lightly with cooking spray.
- Air Fry the Samosas:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Lightly coat the basket with cooking spray.
- Working in batches, arrange the samosas in a single layer and cook for about 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Make the Cilantro-Yogurt Sauce (optional):
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Chill until ready to serve.
- Serve and Enjoy!
- Serve the hot samosas with a dollop of cilantro-yogurt sauce for dipping. Garnish with additional fresh cilantro.
Tips:
- Ensure your potatoes are fully cooked before mashing for a better consistency in the filling.
- Don’t overfill the wonton wrappers to prevent them from bursting during cooking.
- Spray the samosas lightly and avoid overcrowding the basket for even browning.
- Feel free to experiment with different fillings like lentils, shredded vegetables, or paneer cheese.
